It synthesises the outcomes of three landmark Model UNESCO conferences convened between December 2025 and July 2026, reflecting the dedication of young leaders to navigate one of the most profound technological frontiers of our time\u2014ensuring that neurotechnology develops in a manner that is ethical, human-rights-centred, and inclusive.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8fef137 jltma-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8fef137\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<iframe allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; clipboard-write\" scrolling=\"no\" class=\"fp-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/heyzine.com\/flip-book\/50ee37d1e0.html\" style=\"border: 1px solid lightgray; width: 100%; height: 400px;\"><\/iframe>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c421b45 jltma-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c421b45\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"background-color: unset;\">\ud83c\udf0d This resolution was drafted by youth delegates from tthe Fourth International UNESCO Model 2025, hosted under the patronage of UNESCO, and the BOCHK | UNESCO HK 2026 Secondary School Model UNESCO International Conference on the Ethics of Neurotechnology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2b50 The Youth Prospect comprises 12 operative clauses, addressing:<br>&#8211; Protect neurorights and criminalise neural data exploitation<br>&#8211; Establish independent bioethics oversight for neurotechnology<br>&#8211; Mandate ethical review and implement the UNESCO Recommendation<br>&#8211; Adopt the &#8220;Living Consent Principle&#8221; with safeguards for vulnerable groups<br>&#8211; Expand youth engagement through conferences, fellowships, and education<br>&#8211; Support equity-focused capacity-building for developing countries<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfaf A dedicated section highlights applications for the Hong Kong-Greater Bay Area, reaffirming our commitment to translating global dialogue into local action.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfdb\ufe0f These conferences were held with the guidance and support of the UNESCO, World Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO, the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, and Consulates General from over 20 countries, underscoring their international recognition.
