\/>\u300c\u6a21\u62df\u8054\u5408\u56fd\u6559\u79d1\u6587\u7ec4\u7ec7\u300d\u4f1a\u8bae\u662f\u4e00\u9879\u4ee5\u4f53\u9a8c\u5f0f\u6559\u80b2\u4e3a\u4e3b\u65e8\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u53c2\u4e0e\u8005\u5728\u5176\u4e2d\u626e\u6f14\u8054\u5408\u56fd\u6559\u79d1\u6587\u7ec4\u7ec7\u4f1a\u5458\u56fd\u4ee3\u8868\u7684\u89d2\u8272\uff0c\u6a21\u62df\u5728\u7ec4\u7ec7\u5185\u4e3e\u884c\u7684\u5927\u4f1a\u3002<br \/>\u53c2\u52a0\u6a21\u62df\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u5c06\u6df1\u5165\u4e86\u89e3\u56fd\u9645\u8bae\u9898\uff0c\u91cd\u70b9\u5173\u6ce8\u300c\u8054\u5408\u56fd\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u76ee\u6807 2022<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-911577c jltma-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"911577c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On November 26th and 27th, 2022, the First Hong Kong Secondary School Model UNESCO Conference organised by UNESCO Hong Kong Association (UHKA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development (HiESD) was successfully held.<\/p><p>The 23 participating teams were from 13 local secondary schools and international schools in Hong Kong, including the Belilios Public School, Christian Alliance International School of Hong Kong, Heep Yunn School, HKUGA College, Holy Trinity College, Immaculate Heart of Mary College, ISF Academy, Kiangsu Chekiang College International Section, Po Leung Kuk Cam\u00f5es Tan Siu Lin Primary School, Salesians of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School, Sha Tin Methodist College, St. Paul&#8217;s Co-educational College and St. Stephen&#8217;s Girls&#8217; College.<\/p><p>Nearly 100 students participated in the conference, they played the role of representatives of UNESCO member states, simulating meetings that take place within the organization to discuss one of the most important issue in the world: &#8220;Transforming Education for Our Common Future&#8221;.<\/p><p>The Conference received the support from the hornourable advisor \u2013 the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, and Mr. Zhang Songyun, Deputy Director of the Division of Education of the\u00a0 Commission delivered a congratulatory speech.\u00a0<\/p><p>In addition, the conference have received acknowledgements from the Consulates General of Australia, Mexico, Russia and Spain in Hong Kong. Professor Cheung, along with <strong>Mr. Wong Kwan Yu, SBS, JP<\/strong>, the President of the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, <strong>Principal Chu Kwok Keung<\/strong>, member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, <strong>Principal Andy Wan Ka-kit<\/strong> from the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong, and <strong>Ms. Betty Chow Mei Yin<\/strong>, Vice Chairman of The Non-Profit-Making Kindergarten Council of Hong Kong and other prestigious guests \u201cpowered-up\u201d the globe on the stage for the kick-off ceremony of the the &#8220;Reimagining our futures together: A new social contract for education&#8221; report published by the UNESCO International Commission on the Futures of Education in November, 2021 and the \u201cTransforming Education Summit\u201d held in September, 2022. With this motion, the conference encourages students to develop an in-depth understanding of the historical background and innovative transformation of education policies in various countries, evaluate on how the countries they represent can respond to the challenges arising from rapid changes in science and technology, socio-economy, the eco-system by implementing educational reforms, reshaping the education system, and try to propose solid solutions through negotiation and innovative thinking.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8d407d3 jltma-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8d407d3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On the first day of the conference,\u00a0 the delegates presented their strategies and actively engaged in general debate sessions. On the second day, the case session was held on the topic &#8220;Cyberbullying in Hong Kong Secondary Schools&#8221;. In August 2022, the organisers of the conference \u2013 HiESD and UHKA completed the first &#8220;Model UNESCO Student Coordinator Training Programme&#8221;, to empower student leader to initiate Model UNESCO student clubs and activities in their schools. Since the announcement of the motion of the conference at the end of October, the participating teams carried out thorough research and practise sessions. In addition, UHKA and HiESD also organized briefing sessions to guide students in topic preparation, and arranged a number of youth-led talks to enhance students&#8217; negotiation skills and understanding of sustainable development. This includes a thematic workshop on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals delivered by Ms. Americana Chen \u2013 the Youth Affairs Representative of the Hong Kong Association for UNESCO, and a workshop on the skills and strategies for MUN and MUNESCO delivered by speaker from the Model United Nations Society of the City University of Hong
